These are delicious and easy to make. That is the kind of combination that beckons one to get out their measuring cup and start baking! This recipe was gifted to us from one of our dear patients – thanks J.R.!

Yield: 9 to 12 brownies
Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond butter
- 3/4 cup mashed pumpkin or other squash
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 in. pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Serves 8.
*I have used a flax egg replacement and it turned out well (not quite as good as the egg but still tasty)
