Homemade Hemp Milk

Total Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 1 mason jar (4 cups)

Ingredients:

  • ¾ C hempseed
  • 1 t – ½ T vanilla powder, optional
  • 3 – 4 medjool dates, pitted, optional
  • 3 ½ C water
  • Dash of sea salt

Directions:

Blend until smooth in a high-speed blender. Pour into a mason jar, and refrigerate for up to one week. No need to strain if using hemp as the ground seeds sink to the bottom and can be used when done to throw into any recipe you find appropriate.

Note – If hemp milk is heated it will coagulate. If you want to heat your milk swap hempseed for shredded coconut and blend with hot water, or, soaked and drained almonds with water.
