Summer workouts are all about getting a sweat on, and when we sweat we can loose some essential minerals necessary for nerve, heart and muscle cell conduction. Sodium and potassium are important electrolytes readily lost through sweat. An easy way to keep your electrolytes is by diluting fruit juice with a pinch of sea salt sipping throughout your workouts or your can make your own electrolyte drink with this recipe.
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
4 tsp honey
4 tsp lemon juice
1 liter water
Shake and stir all ingredients and drink throughout workout!
